How much does physical therapy cost?Typically, $60-100 per one hour visit through insurance. Cash pay is $120 for the initial evaluation and $75 for individual treatment sessions. Every insurance has a different negotiated rate for each service performed which accounts for the variations in cost.
-
Do I need a script from my doctor to start therapy? The short answer is NO. If your insurance provider is Medicare, Tricare, or select commercial insurance you will either need to get a script in advance of therapy OR we can complete the initial evaluation and request a signature from your doctor on your plan of care.

What does the PRO in SportPRO stand for?P.R.O. stands for Performance, Recovery, and Orthopedic (and sport) Physical Therapy! We provide a complete continuum of care for all the maintenance involved with being active. While an active lifestyle helps in preventing metabolic conditions like diabetes and heart disease, it does lend itself to an increased risk of orthopedic injuries like sprains, strains, and breaks. Even if you don't find yourself with an injury requiring physical therapy, we can help you with recovering from the demands of your sport and help with reducing the risk of injury. We offer our RECOVERY room in order to help with the recovery between active bouts of sport. We have a variety of tools that help reduce stiffness, improve blood flow, and massage out sore muscles so our active population can stay after it. From the PERFORMANCE front we offer our Mobility Foundations Program. This involves working through a detailed assessment to identify your movement restrictions and weaknesses and then provide a tailored exercise regiment you can use in order to improve your mobility, reduce your risk of injury, and improve your performance.
-
Do you do home therapy? No. We specialize in outpatient orthopedic and sport physical therapy which means we do not travel to homes or do therapy in any hospital settings. That means if you are able to come to our clinic we can see you whether your issue is non-surgical or if you need treatment after a surgery such as a knee replacement.
-
Does physical therapy hurt?Well... it depends. If you just had a knee replacement then yes, physical therapy will hurt because EVERYTHING hurts soon after a knee replacement. But, one of our goals is to get you OUT OF PAIN so intentionally putting you in pain does not lend itself to meeting that goal. What is common in our facility is muscle soreness and stretching discomfort associated with using a part of your body that you may have avoided using for a period of time. We will always avoid reproducing the pain that caused you to begin physical therapy in the first place.
